Hey Nicola! Love this recipe sooo much 🥰 Just wondering, if i wanted to just make plain scones instead would i need to increase the butter quantity a bit?

Hi Nicola, thanks for doing what you do here at Kitchen project. I followed you from the puff school. Quick question on the cheese scones: can we add beer (instead of buttermilk) to this recipe and would that need any adjustments to the leavening agent? Thanks!

Hi Nicola, Quick question on freezing - if want to make a double batch and only bake some how long would you imagine they would keep in the freezer? 3 months max?

Hi Nicola this is the perfect cheese scone recipe 👌. I would love to add some wild garlic to my next batch. Which ingredient should I use less of to include about 80g of wild garlic? Thank you

Heya Nicola, just subscribed to Kitchen Projects, I love the 3pm biscuits and I made the scones today and although they tasted delicious I couldn’t achieve the tall, flaky layers. Whilst they baked the butter completely melted out and left a pool of butter in the baking tray. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks so much

These are wonderful.... so tender, flaky and flavourful.... yum yum yum

If we wanted to make them without the cheese (i know, why would you do that?..but this recipe would make the most amazing American breakfast biscuits) ....would we need to add something to replace the missing cheese? .

Thank you Nicola, you are a gem. xoxo

I'm guessing once you cut them into squares you can store them in the freezer like cookies? XD

Wow! Those layers are a mind blow! I can’t wait to make these! Thx so much for doing these posts. I’ve got them saved up for as soon as I have a gap.
