A wonderful read. So interesting, brilliantly written and am now going to put my food processor to work. Sounds like a visit to Turin is a must too Thank you.

Oh my goodness, I missed out on the hot chocolate and now I’m scrambling to find the next time I can go back and try it 😱

Do it, you won’t regret it! Fresh whipped cream on the side for good measure too!

What would you recommend as an alternative to Nutella?

I’m really sorry if I’ve put you off Nutella for good!!! I’m yet to test my own alternative Nutella recipe but that’s definitely on the to do list. I‘m not sure where you’re based, but many chocolatiers/places offer their own chocolate hazelnut spreads now. If you wanted to treat yourself to something very special, this is a real Piedmont gianduja chocolate spread: https://www.souschef.co.uk/products/italian-hazelnut-gianduja-spread

I was a bit worried about the palm oil aspect too but knowing it's cutting corners on ingredients makes me a bit more motivated to find alternatives. I'm in the UK so I'll keep an eye out and will try out the souschef one. I had a really nice one from Whole Foods once, it was so nice, although now I'm not in London anymore a bit harder to source. Thanks Octavia

Hello, Nutribullet crew here (...eek). Thank you for the lovely, informative read, as per !! I wanted to ask if workable to replace a traditional food processor with a Nutribullet, given you can't scrap down/it's a self-contained sort of unit. Not had huge success blitzing nuts uniformly in one !
