I made the gingerbread amaretti cookies! Incredible flavor and texture. Definitely a contender for my cookie box. Just as a FYI - the instructions don’t mention when to add the rum. I added it with the egg white since I assumed you intended to add the wet ingredients together.
I look forward to these every year. I get myself a nice hot drink and sit down and read these in excitement. I can’t recall which year it was you did the pop up where you could fill a bag with the biscuits but I remember queuing forever and it was SO MUCH fun. Was lovely to meet you briefly too, I was massively fan girling! Please never stop doing these
Hi I’m having a second go at the baci biscuits (because Christmas doesn’t end til Candlemas amirite?), and I’m struggling with piping - the mixture is quite firm and as I try to pipe it bursts the bag before I can get it through to nozzle. Any advice?
I want to ship cookie boxes this year, and I’m eyeing the bows, the chocolate ones, and the chestnut meringues. Do you think they will hold up with shipping? If not, any suggestions for good cookies to ship?
